This article examines ‘Babur-nama’ by Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur as an artistically structured autobiographical text in which the author’s personal experience functions as a formative structural principle. It is demonstrated that Babur’s autobiographism is not limited to a simple recording of events but is expressed through narrative subjectivity, reflection, and evaluative stance, which distinguishes the work from the conventions of court chronicles. Based on selected poetic and prose excerpts, the study analyzes the modes of representing the authorial “self,” including the open expression of emotions, self-assessment of actions, religious-philosophical motifs, and the conscious use of language as a means of self-expression.
