KÜLTÜREL MİRAS NESNESİ OLARAK ALİ ŞİR NEVAİ TEMALI HEDİYELİK ÜRÜN TASARIMI ÜZERİNE BİR ÇALIŞMA

Abstract

Culture is a broad concept encompassing the traditions, customs, lifestyles, history, and beliefs of societies. A country's geography, political structure, economy, way of life, and perspective on art-in short, every aspect of its existence-constitutes its culture. On the other hand, cultural heritage is the sum of abstract and non-abstract, tangible and intangible elements accumulated by a society from the past to the present. Ali Şir Nevai, a valuable figure in Turkish culture-a poet, writer, statesman, and linguist-contributed to humanity and society through his works, making him a universal cultural ambassador. His role as a state official, establishing foundations and madrasas, and leaving behind rich cultural values that have reached us today, demonstrates his service-oriented approach and his universality through his contributions to cultural heritage. This study aims to promote Ali Şir Nevai nationally and internationally through souvenir designs. In today's societies, Ali Şir Nevai's contribution to the cultural development of his time, inspired by his love story of Ferhat and Şirin, and sometimes by the mathematical digging of a mountain for water, can be brought to the present day through the creation of souvenirs using miniatures, illumination, weaving, and various materials (CNC, 3D printers), employing modern production techniques. This approach, which honors his memory, his works, and his contributions to cultural heritage, is a significant step towards cultural sustainability
