The article examines the features of chiasmic repetitions and their use as a stylistic device. Chiasmus is the repetition of two identical lexical units in a text in a crisscrossing manner. Repetitions in a chiasmic structure, depending on the specifics of their use, are divided into phonetic, morphemic, lexical and syntactic. According to its structure, it is divided into simple and complex. Chiasma is uneven in its external arrangement. Some of them, although they are repeated crosswise, do not form a complete X-shape, but are located far from each other, have a triangular shape and are found in various types. Based on these characteristics, the phenomenon of chiasma can be divided into complete, distant and incomplete. Chiasmic constructions are of great importance in artistic style. Chiasmic repetitions are used in all genres of literary style, enhancing the beauty of speech. Increases the stylistic value of the text.
