Abstract

This article discusses the methodological foundations of using step-by-step tasks in teaching students about syntax. The importance of a step-by-step approach in mastering the theoretical aspects of syntax and in the formation of practical skills is analyzed. Also, sample tasks for practical lessons are proposed. The article justifies the methodology of using step-by-step tasks based on Bloom's taxonomy as a modern and effective method of teaching the syntax section. Also, syntax, especially such topics as complex sentences, subordinate clauses, and the system of conjunctions, is difficult for students to understand, is rich in abstract concepts, and requires a deep analysis of the relationship between language units. This requires a simple, logical, and step-by-step explanation by the teacher. Step-by-step tasks help to solve these problems.
