Abstract

This article presents the methods and types of tests used in native language education, the principles of test design, 4 types of level tests and examples. Today, testing is one of the most actively used methods at almost every stage of the education system. While tests used in general secondary schools and higher education institutions allow you to assess the knowledge of the test taker, determine his knowledge and skills in a certain field of study, tests for entrance exams to higher education institutions also perform a selection function. The test is also designed based on certain laws, rules, principles, and tests that are consistent, logically correct, and clearly explain the content of the questions do not cause objections from the user. The article discusses the aspects that should be paid attention to in the process of test design, the principles of test design, and some errors encountered in the process of test design and methods for eliminating them.
