This article thoroughly explores the role and significance of the journalistic style in developing students' critical and creative thinking. In particular, it highlights how journalistic texts help students form an active civic position toward social phenomena, analyze pressing issues, understand them deeply, and develop the ability to think independently, reasonably and concisely about real-life events. The article discusses effective methods of using the journalistic style in the educational process, examines existing practical experiences, and analyzes previously published journalistic articles in terms of their content and educational potential, drawing scientifically grounded conclusions. Additionally, this style is considered a crucial tool not only for developing students’ thinking skills but also for enhancing their communication culture and vocabulary. Through this, the journalistic style is recognized as an effective means that meets modern educational requirements.
