Abstract

Acmeological competence is a set of knowledge, skills and qualities that ensure a person reaches the peak of his personal development and reveals his maximum potential. The development of this competence ensures that the student knows himself better, succeeds in the educational process and is more effective in his life. The formation of acmeological competence in students in history lessons is an important aspect aimed at the intellectual, emotional and personal development of students in the educational process. Acmeology is a science that studies the peak of a person's professional and personal development, and in this regard, history lessons provide ample opportunities for the development of this competence. The formation of acmeological competence in history lessons does not only consist of transmitting historical information, but also serves the development of the student's personality, the development of critical thinking and self-management skills. For this purpose, various methods and tools are used. The correct methods and tools applied in history lessons help students not only memorize information, but also analyze it, evaluate it and develop as a person. This is the main goal of acmeological competence: to recognize the student's potential and realize it.
