РОЛЬ НЕВЕРБАЛЬНОЙ КОММУНИКАЦИИ В СИНХРОННОМ ПЕРЕВОДЕ С РУССКОГО НА УЗБЕКСКИЙ

Abstract

The article examines the role of nonverbal communication in simultaneous interpreting from Russian into Uzbek. It analyzes the functions of gestures, facial expressions, intonation, and other nonverbal cues in the process of meaning interpretation and the transmission of emotional and pragmatic components of speech. Special attention is paid to the cultural specificities of Russian and Uzbek communicative traditions and to how these differences influence the interpreter’s strategies. The paper provides examples of adapting nonverbal signals in cross-linguistic communication and emphasizes the importance of nonverbal competence for achieving pragmatic adequacy in translation. The study concludes that effective training of simultaneous interpreters requires an integrated approach that combines linguistic, psychological, and cultural preparation, enabling interpreters to perceive communication as a holistic process that unites verbal and nonverbal expression
