Abstract

This article highlights symbolism and its role in enhancing the effectiveness of works using the example of Charles Dickens. The words and phrases expressing symbolism in the works of Charles Dickens, the characteristics of English culture, and the spiritual relationships between social classes are analyzed. This paper gives information about the writer’s unique style, the author’s goals through symbolism and other expressive means.
