Abstract

This article examines the issue of ensuring linguocultural equivalence in the translation of paremiological units from Uzbek, Karakalpak, and English. It analyzes the role of proverbs in reflecting national mentality, cultural values, and historical-social experience. Within the framework of a linguocultural approach, the semantic essence, imagery system, and equivalence of paremiological expressions across the three languages are explored. The study employs authentic Uzbek, Karakalpak, and English proverbs and illustrates their translation strategies through practical examples.
