Abstract

The article discusses two important principles of the literary environment of the Timurid period. The study of a certain field of knowledge, first of all, under the guidance of a teacher, and then continuous work on oneself based on independent education, is analyzed through examples from historical and literary works of that period. Some areas of the cultural and literary environment of the Timurid period are addressed: calligraphy, education, literary criticism, music.
