Abstract

This scientific article extensively covers the life and work of the great Turkic scholar Mahmud Kashgari and his place in the history of Turkic literature. Mainly, the work "Devonu lug'otit-turk" is analyzed, and its linguistic, literary and cultural aspects are studied.
