This article extensively discusses the issue of cultural expression of tolerance in Uzbek and English discourse. The concept of tolerance is closely related to the historical experience, traditional values, and system of social relations of each nation, and its forms of manifestation in discourse also depend on these factors. The article analyzes the linguocultural aspects of tolerance in Uzbek and English culture, the ways of their expression in oral and written speech, as well as how national mentality and cultural values ​​are reflected through such expressions. In addition, the role of tolerance in ensuring mutual understanding in the process of intercultural communication is also discussed. The results of the study show that the phenomenon of tolerance has its own semantic and pragmatic features in different cultural contexts
