Abstract

This article provides a scientific analysis of the linguistic, cognitive, and linguocultural features of the category of quantitativeness in modern linguistics. As a universal phenomenon of human cognition, the category of quantity serves as a fundamental means of classifying objects and events through counting, measuring, comparing, and determining the degree of intensity. The study investigates the ways in which quantitative units are expressed in English, Russian, and Uzbek languages within lexical, morphological, and syntactic levels. The results reveal the semantic and pragmatic potential of collective nouns, counting units, and intensification devices, highlighting their linguocultural aspects. The novelty of the research lies in examining quantitative units not only from structural and semantic perspectives but also through linguocultural and discursive approaches
