This article analyzes the sources of formation, lexical-semantic features and the role of the mining terminological system within the Uzbek lexical structure. The study examines ancient Turkic rooted terms, borrowings from Arabic, Persian, Russian, and English as well as their processes of semantic adaptation and integration into the national linguistic system. Mining terminology of Uzbek has evolved as a specialized scientific and technical sublexicon that enriches the language through word formation models, semantic expansion, and processes of normalization. The article also substantiates the necessity of aligning Uzbek mining terminology with international ISO standards and outlines the prospects for its systematization and digital standardization. The results demonstrate that such efforts contribute to the convergence of Uzbek mining terminology with global standards, enhance the prestige of the Uzbek language in interdisciplinary communication and promote its recognition in the international scientific arena.
