Abstract

The desire for communicative competence as the final result of learning presupposes not only mastery of the appropriate foreign language technique (i.e., the language competence of students), but also the acquisition of colossal extra-linguistic information necessary for adequate communication and mutual understanding, since the latter is unattainable without the fundamental identity of the basic information of communicants about the surrounding reality.
Linguistic and regional studies is the study of a country's culture in parallel with the study of the language itself. The subject of linguistic and regional studies is culture as it is expressed in the language being studied. Regional studies play an important role in the development of students' communicative competence. The student must acquire the ability to inform themselves, obtain information about the regional state of affairs, communicate on these topics, and use them in every situations.
