The article discusses the concept of words and their role in linguistics. In linguistics, a distinct branch of linguistics that studies grammatical means has been widely discussed, namely paralinguistics and its types. Also, the role of words and phrases in non-verbal means, their connection with the lifestyle, worldview and culture of the people and their role in increasing the vocabulary, reflecting the national color.
