This article highlights the role and significance of calendar myths in the life
of our people, connected with ancient beliefs, natural phenomena, and the changing of the seasons.
It analyzes the place of calendar myths in agriculture, animal husbandry, traditions, ceremonies,
and the system of year calculation. The article discusses how, through calendar myths, our people
expressed their respect for nature, organized their understanding of time and seasonal changes,
and passed down their customs and traditions from generation to generation. This work is
considered an important source for studying the development of folk oral creativity and
mythological thinking.
