Abstract

This article discusses the genre of blessing (olqish) that enhances the folklore
elements in Azim Suyun’s works, particularly through the narrative of “Qul Shirin,” which
contributes to the artistic vitality of his poetry. It explores how this genre serves to reveal the core
idea of the poem. Furthermore, the ethnographic characteristics of folkloric elements in the poet's
creative works are analyzed through his narrative poem "Imorat va yoki bir tomchi dengizga
aylangan kecha" ("The Fortress or a Night Turned into a Drop of Sea").
