Abstract

his article analyzes the historical-genealogical and gnoseological
relationship between the category of adjectives and nouns in the Uzbek language. The primary
function of adjectives to identify and express the attributes of nouns determines their role
within the linguistic structure. The study examines the formation of adjective-forming affix
paradigms and their semantic and functional proximity to noun-forming morphemes. This
research aims to reveal the linguistic connections between adjectives and nouns through an indepth
analysis of their morphology and semantics
