Abstract

The article analyzes the process of formation and development of Uzbek
journalistic style norms at the beginning of the 20th century using the example of the language of
journalistic articles by Mahmudkhodja Behbudi. The writer's linguistic activity in the formation
of the journalistic style is scientifically assessed.
