The article examines Uzbek linguistics in Tajikistan, in particular the Uzbek
language. The article describes the research works studied and conducted in the field of
dialectology. The influence of the Tajik language on Uzbek dialects, social factors, word
formation, communication process, phonetic changes are analyzed. The classification and groups
of Uzbek dialects in Tajikistan are given.
