Abstract

This article analyzes the history of the scientific study of Uzbek children’s folklore, its stages of formation and development, as well as the scholarly legacy of the leading researchers who have contributed to this field. It explores the process of academic inquiry from the earliest attempts to recognize children’s folklore as an independent object of research and to establish it as a distinct field within folkloristics, up to the present day.
