Abstract

This article comparatively studies the names of clothing used in various
regional dialects of the Uzbek language. During the research, lexical units specific to different
regions of our respublic are analyzed, and their similarities and differences are identified. In
addition, the relationship between clothing names found in dialects and the literary language, as
well as their phonetic and lexico-semantic changes, is examined. The main purpose of the article
is to revelal the regional characteristics of clothing terminology in uzbek dialekts and to highlight
the dialectal richness of the language through their systematic comparison
