This article examines the ideological, thematic and artistic similarities in the
works of the Uzbek writer and public figure Abdurauf Fitrat and the prominent Kazakh poet and
scientist Akhmet Baitursynuly. The main goal of both personalities is to awaken the nation, revive
the consciousness of the people, encourage education and science, and lead to liberation. I also
show the enlightenment spirit in their poetry, the idea of national independence, and the
commonality of the Turkic spirit through examples
