Abstract

This article/work systematically the livestock-related lexicon of the
Kipchak dialects of the Surkhandarya region. During the study, specific dialectal names
for the age, sex, color, diseases of livestock in the region, as well as livestock products and
equipment, were identified and classified. The article comparatively studies the
ethnolinguistic features of this lexical layer, its relationship with the Uzbek literary
language and other Turkic languages/dialects. The results obtained serve as an important
source in studying Uzbek dialectology, lexicology, and the historical development of the
folk language.
