Abstract

This article comparatively analyzes phraseological units in Uzbek and
Kazakh folk tales from linguo-folkloristic perspectives. The study examines the semantic features
of phraseological expressions, their role in creating artistic images, and their national-cultural
significance based on the folk tales “Qilich Botir” and “Qalabay Batyr.” The research also
analyzes traditional narrative formulas and the usage of stable expressions in fairy tales,
identifying common and distinctive features in Uzbek and Kazakh languages. Furthermore, the
semantic field of phraseological units is revealed through theoretical approaches related to
comparative folklore studies and phraseology. The results of the study are important for
comparative research of Turkic folklore and for identifying the national-cultural characteristics
of phraseological units.
