Abstract

This article analyzes the transformation of folklore genres in modern Uzbek
poetry, particularly the manifestations of simple and analytical folklorism. Based on B.
Sarimsoqov’s theoretical views on folklorism, the poems “Ishonch” by A’zam Oʻktam and
“Yolgʻon” and “Buzoqning oʻlimidan soʻng” by Eshqobil Shukur are examined. The study
highlights the integration of folklore motifs, folk-style images, and traditional poetic elements with
modern artistic thinking in these poems.
