Abstract

This article explores the theoretical and practical foundations of comic
genres in Uzbek folklore based on linguistic play and improvisation. The study provides a
scientific analysis of the etymological roots of oral art and its role in the formation of folk
theater and dramatic performances. Furthermore, the gender characteristics of the genre,
specifically the artistic and aesthetic nature of wordplay in female performances and the
issue of subtext, are highlighted through the lens of international cultural heritage
