Abstract

This article investigates the morphological level of the epic “Gulnor
Pari” performed by Muhammadjon Jomurot oʻgʻli Polkan Shoʻir, a prominent
representative of the Bulungur epic school. The study illuminates phenomena typical of
epic speech such as elision, syncretism of cases, and the role of dialectal variants in the
meter and artistic quality of the epic. It also attempts to scientifically substantiate the
specific internal grammatical regularities of the language of folk epics
