Abstract

The article explains with scientific and theoretical data when the Uzbekized
ethnic Arabs living in the Ishtikhan district of the Samarkand region began to live in this area,
where the roots of these ethnic Arabs go, what language they originally spoke, what dialects of
the Uzbek language they speak now, whether they still speak their native Arabic, and many other
questions.
