Abstract

This article explores the extensive efforts dedicated to the emendation of Alisher Navai's works, particularly his Khamsa, within Uzbekistan. Given Navai's prominent cultural significance, much of the editorial work on his texts has been carried out by Uzbek scholars. Two major emendations of the Khamsa were published in the 21st century by Tamaddon and Ghafour Gholam publications. Despite the involvement of numerous scientific institutions and renowned scholars, these editions contain errors across all five works of the Khamsa that require correction. Specifically, the errors in Hayrat al-Abrar can be traced to discrepancies across six sources. Understanding the origins of these mistakes is crucial for producing an accurate edition of Hayrat al-Abrar. Researchers from Iran, particularly those with expertise in Turkish, Persian, and Arabic, who are familiar with the old script, can provide valuable assistance in rectifying these errors and contributing to a more authentic text
