Abstract

This article examines the artistic representation of the great thinker Alisher Navoi in Uzbek literature following the country’s independence, a period during which the realization of national identity and the restoration of national values became central concerns. In this context, Navoi emerged as a symbol of spiritual and moral excellence, with his exemplary life and character serving as a model. The works dedicated to him in post-independence Uzbek literature, particularly those by female poets, constitute a distinctive and significant contribution. The article specifically explores how the image of Alisher Navoi is depicted in the poems of prominent female poets Halima Khudoyberdiyeva, Oydin Hojiyeva, and Farida Afro'z, highlighting the unique portrayal of Navoi in the literary works of this period
