This article explores the literary legacies of two eminent Turkic intellectuals, Nizami Ganjavi and Alisher Navoi, as cultural monuments that have fostered spiritual unity among Turkic nations, particularly in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, across various historical periods. The concept of Turkism, which first flourished and evolved in the works of Nizami Ganjavi, reached its zenith in the writings of Alisher Navoi, enriched by a deep sense of empathy and cultural synthesis. The profound significance of their literary contributions underscores the necessity for comprehensive scholarly study and the transmission of their ideas to future generations. Furthermore, the themes of Turkic identity, love, and unity—established as fundamental symbols of cultural and national self-identification in Nizami Ganjavi’s works—continue to resonate in the present era.
