YOSHLAR HAYOTI MUAMMOLARI: GLOBAL TENDENSIYALAR VA QIYOSIY TAHLIL (O’ZBEKISTON VA AFG’ONISTON MISOLIDA)

Abstract

This article analyzes the challenges of youth life within the context of global trends and examines their specific features through a comparative analysis of Uzbekistan and Afghanistan. The study focuses on key issues such as youth employment, the education system, the NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) phenomenon, and social integration, all of which are explored using scientific and analytical approaches.
The findings indicate that youth-related challenges in Uzbekistan have a predominantly transformational character and are largely associated with institutional effectiveness and the mismatch between the education system and the labor market. In contrast, in Afghanistan, these challenges exhibit a systemic nature, being closely linked to institutional constraints and heightened social risks.
The article further analyzes both international and national mechanisms for addressing youth issues and substantiates the importance of a comprehensive and integrated approach. In particular, it emphasizes the necessity of developing youth policy through the alignment of education, employment, and social integration, providing a scientifically grounded framework for policy formulation.
