Abstract

The article analyzes the role of students in the development of society and the importance of academic freedom in the development of their intellectual activity. Ensuring academic freedom in classical and modern educational institutions serves to form a culture of critical thinking, logical conclusions and evidence-based opinions among students. The article also covers the issues of guaranteeing the rights and freedoms of students in the educational process.
