Abstract

This article focuses on the significance of historical values in the development of self-awareness among young people. In particular, it examines the primary sources of historical values — the Orkhon inscriptions, which are the earliest Turkic written monuments. The author explores historical wisdom within these inscriptions and their role in establishing identity, fostering patriotism, and ensuring national unity. The analysis highlights that the wisdom found in these stone inscriptions remains a vital source of spiritual and ideological education for promoting solidarity and patriotism today, serving as a fundamental element in the evolution of youth self-awareness
