KONNOTATIV MA’NO IFODALOVCHI LEKSIK BIRLIKLAR

Abstract

This article presents an in-depth analysis of lexical units expressing connotative meaning as reflected in the Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek language. During the study, 46 lexical units were selected and their denotative and connotative meanings were comparatively analyzed. The use of each lexical unit in literary texts is convincingly demonstrated through concrete examples. The research reveals the role of connotative meaning in the language system, the factors contributing to its formation, and its artistic and aesthetic functions.
