Abstract

This article offers an analysis based on Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s Baburnama. It examines, through a psychobiographical lens, the role played by the spheres of kingship, personality, and family environment—as well as the tragic circumstances found in Babur’s biography— in shaping him as both a ruler and a poet.
