Abstract

This thesis analyzes the expression of implicature, considered one of the main concepts of pragmatics, in wise sayings. The analysis is based on the theoretical perspectives of both international and Uzbek linguists. Additionally, Grice's theory was used as the basis for examining the expression of implicature in wise sayings. Facts that serve as the foundation for studying wise sayings at the pragmatic level in Uzbek linguistics were also considered
